This morning, I felt drawn to the beach, grounding myself in the peace and power of the sea. The sound of the waves and the rhythm of the tide sparked inspiration for my sound bath practice. Instruments like the wave drum and rainmaker capture this natural flow, bringing the ocean’s calming presence into the space I create for others.

🌊✨ After 10 and a half weeks post-op, I finally dipped my toes (and everything else!) back into the sea today, and words can barely describe the joy. There’s just something about being in that salt water, feeling the sand beneath your toes, and immersing myself in nature that takes my soul to another place. Like the song says, it truly does take your brain to another dimension. 🧠💫

I feel so grateful to be able to experience this again—this simple yet profound act that brings me so much joy. There’s nothing like the sea to remind you of your own strength, resilience, and connection to something greater. Here’s to celebrating the little wins that feel huge! 🩵

I’m so grateful and happy to invite you to join me for a deeply restorative sound bath experience on Sunday, 17th November. I’ll be bringing my beloved crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, and a few percussive treasures to create a healing journey that soothes the mind, relaxes the body, and nurtures the spirit.

Day 20 in the middle of the night, I had a frightening experience. Around 3:30 a.m., the bleeding was getting heavier and heavier and I was passing sizeable blood clots. I felt completely overwhelmed. I couldn’t even get up to make a cup of tea as I couldn’t stand up from the huge blood loss and I didn’t know what to do—whether to call an ambulance or try to get myself to the hospital or just stay put as it’ll probably pass. Thankfully, I tuned into what my body was telling me and made the call. The incredible person on the other end of the line made the right call, and an emergency ambulance got to me. I’m grateful for that support.

I thought twice about sharing this, but if it helps one other person feel less alone in a situation like this, then it’s worth it. The reaction and messages I’ve received from people have shown me it was. These moments are hard to talk about, but I think it’s just as important to share the bumpy stuff as it is the good stuff.

These videos are from a few weeks back —I’m okay now, nine weeks post-op and recovering well. But remember, listen to your body; it could make all the difference. 🙏💫

Grateful 🧡

I feel truly grateful to the women who came along to the women’s circle last night. The power of sitting in circle and sharing what’s truly going on for them.

Perhaps the most important characteristic of a Sharing Circle is the intention behind it. The same is true of all we do, what intention are you bringing. For me last night it was the intention of creating a sacred space, an inclusive space, a space where individuals listen to each other, with their hearts rather than their heads. Where people feel free to express who they are and how they feel without fear of judgment or consequences. A space to feel truly seen and heard. A space where there is a common understanding that what is shared in the circle, remains in the circle - an agreement of confidentiality.

I’d like to thank the space for the Invisible magic it weaves. 🧡✨

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐏 (𝐀𝐌) - 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠

🌸 So grateful to be 9.5 weeks post-op now and looking back with so much compassion for myself—for every little setback and big hurdle along the way. I had to head to the breast clinic at Norfolk and Norwich to check on some lumps I’d found before surgery that I hadn’t had the headspace to address.

As always, the clinic was amazing, reassuring me that it’s completely okay to go back whenever I notice new lumps or bumps. They reminded me they’d rather see people come in multiple times than risk missing a serious issue. Turns out, I’m just a lumpy person! 😅 But it was a reminder that checking in with our bodies is so important. GO GET YOUR BOOBIES CHECKED if you’re ever unsure!

This day also had a bit of a surprise—when I got to the hospital, I started to bleed. I thought it was just a delayed post-op bleed, maybe a few days off schedule, and brushed it off as that. I was so tired and figured it was from being out for the morning for the appointment. But as you’ll see in the next video, things weren’t quite as they seemed… 🌱

Here’s to listening to our bodies, trusting our instincts, and finding compassion for ourselves through every twist and turn. 🌿

Day 19 POST OP

A few weeks ago, I sat by the sea, wrapped in the embrace of the wide-open skies and endless horizon. There was a comfort in the steady rhythm of the waves as they came and went—an ebb and flow that reminded me so much of life. Problems, emotions, and feelings… they arrived, rose, and then retreated. Just like the tides, they didn’t last forever.

In that moment, the sea’s rhythm reminded me of the resilience that’s carried me through so many parts of my recovery journey—from finding sobriety to navigating mental health challenges like anxiety and depression, and even recovering from my recent operation. There’s been healing in simply watching nature’s rhythm and trusting that, like the waves, everything eventually finds its balance.

I’m feeling deeply grateful for this simple, powerful medicine and sharing this gratitude with anyone who may need a reminder that their own journey, too, has its flow. 💙

We had such a great recovery group last week I wanted to share the topic.

In our sobriety journey, we learn that it’s possible—and okay—to feel two emotions at once. 🌿 You can feel sorrow and joy, grief and hope, and it doesn’t make one emotion more valid than the other. Attunement in recovery means tuning into these emotions, allowing them to exist side by side, and accepting ourselves fully in the process.

Recovery is not about avoiding pain or chasing happiness—it’s about balance. It’s about recognizing when we need to adjust, to realign with what nurtures us, and to honor the full range of our feelings. ✨

I took a gentle stroll outside—something I’d been waiting for and working towards after a whirlwind of challenges those past two weeks. Recovering from surgery and facing complications like blood clots in my lungs reminded me just how powerful each small step can be, both physically and emotionally.

Moving my body again, even if it’s just some stretching and a short walk, felt incredible. It was like waking up parts of me that had been asleep. I felt a heaviness in my body, almost as if I was superglued to the ground, but being out in nature, hearing the birds, and feeling the fresh air helped lift my spirit. My sister-in-law’s words echoed in my mind: “Remember, you have to come home too, so don’t push yourself too far.” Wise advice—one I took to heart.

I’m so grateful to be attuned to my body’s signals, to recognise what it needs and respects its limits. That cloud of heaviness had lifted, and being outdoors reminded me just how healing nature is.

Recovery also makes me reflect on choices I’ve made. I’m incredibly thankful for my sober journey and the strength it’s given me, as well as the decision to quit smoking three months before surgery. I know these decisions made a huge difference in my recovery.

On this day I was simply grateful:
🌱 Grateful to walk.
🌱 Grateful to breathe.
🌱 Grateful for the small but meaningful progress.

I was feeling a bit shaken on this day as the reality of the small blood clots sunk in, even though I’d shared about them before. The fear was real, but so was the progress—my healing from the hysterectomy itself was going well, and I had to remind myself to focus on that. 💛

I was especially grateful my parents visited on this day. A hug from Mum was exactly what my heart needed. Sometimes, it’s those little moments of comfort that make all the difference. 🌿

Life threw me a curveball on day 11—post-surgery complications in the form of blood clots on my lungs. Definitely not what I was hoping for, but I’m leaning on something I’ve learned deeply through recovery: the power of presence, calm, and understanding what’s in my control and what isn’t.

I’m grateful for the tools I’ve gained on this journey, as they make even the toughest moments feel a little more manageable. It’s not easy, but I know without these practices, it would feel so much harder.

By sharing these things we build a sense of community and connection. Together, we get through this.

Like last time it’s a very relaxed place to just come and sit and share what might be going on for you in a completely non judgement space, a place to switch off and unwind, a place to meet new friends. You can also just sit and be without sharing.

I can’t promise exactly what a circle will be like, as no two are ever the same. However, what I can say is that whenever I sit in circle I feel their restorative power. I feel held by the group of women and soothed in the knowledge that all of me is welcome in the space, and that I don’t have to worry about being judged. That no one will offer unwanted advice or try to fix me. It makes me feel deeply connected, with a great sense of peace and our oneness. Day 11

As I continue my recovery from my hysterectomy, I’m deeply grateful for the power of sound healing, particularly my crystal bowls, and especially my sacral chakra bowl.

The sacral chakra is the energetic center for creativity, emotional flow, and connection to our bodies. After surgery, it’s vital to nurture this area to restore balance, release tension, and invite deep healing.

The vibrations of the sacral bowl resonate perfectly with this energy center, bringing warmth, grounding, and a sense of peace to my healing process. I feel so empowered to use the tools I’ve learned to nurture and heal myself from the inside out.

Healing is a journey, and I’m so grateful to have sound as part of mine. 🌊✨
